Hi J,R,A and L

I have been recording the data on two Moxy sensors (#0078, 0094) and then downloading the data via usb after.
Pre test I charge the unit, clear data -> set clock -> set profile and then use shortly after.

The data I download from both units seems to change values in the time column each session I retrieve the data?! The data is there but the time seems to have no link to the original recording time.?
Is this just in my units? Am I using the software incorrectly? Is this perhaps because of my Australian date format illogically putting day before month before year? But mostly, is there any way for me to get back to original time of the recorded data to ease alignment with my other devices?

I like to refresh this above question as I have no clear answer and hope a technician from MOXY can give a better support n the time zoning and how to adjust the overlap.

Than I like to add a second question I can not answer. Can an SRM crank be combined for wattage feedback over the peripedal program so the timing of MOXY and wattage and HR is perfect to be used for interpretation ?

I get this problem too, it is very difficult to corelate moxy raw data with data recorded by other devices like power and hr. Especially if the session are a few hours long. The PC moxy software should run a calibration on the sampling interval and use this to offset each data stamp.

I hope a  cycling specialist    can answer our  question. I never have this problem at all as we use  NIRS always  live directly  as it is  for us a  work tool to react as we do the workout  and adjust c accordingly to the   goal setting , so we  very  seldom  have to go back and look what e  did.
 In strength  workouts we always use peripedal so we always have   if we are looking at HR   MOXY and  HR  synchronized anyway.
 As we  do physiological feedback  and  rarely use  performance to guide  us we   do not need the  performance feedback  at all.
 So hope fully  cycling   users   have a  way  how they use   NIRS  with performance if they do performance guided  workouts.  In short I like to know now as I am doing it  where I have to chnage  something t  stay on target  and not after the fact  to see, that I missed  my target. Will see, whether I can show  some of  this  situation , where   after the fact the  information shows  that the   load should have been adjusted   and so  we have to go back repeat the workout  to show the athlete  what he has t look at  duirng the workout.

I do have a live feedback on my outdoor rides (3 to 5 hours) via my garmin edge 1000, however it is still difficult to interpret as it doesn't show Thb or SM02 graphically i also like to review some sections after the ride but it difficult to synchronize the Moxy data to the garmin.

To be honest. That is my biggest frustration at this time. No direct link with Moxy and other cycling data when riding outdoors. It is a PITA to try to align the data afterwards. Either in Excel or in GC. It becomes even more difficult if you have data dropouts in Moxy due to su light or other reasons. Also the time stamps of Moxy and Exported ride files to excel and trying to vlookup does not work. Hopefully this is all fixed when Garmin fit files will contain the data (but think about it what happens it Moxy has a data dropout. Will the .fit file align this?)
That's why I use moxy 99.9% of time indoors with peripedal

In case  of a  cycling physiological workout outdoor on the street  I use  my hip street W7  and peripedal  so  for  Stroke volume workouts or other  ideas. I   re start  every 15 min when I have a break  anyway  and it takes me  about  30 - 60 seconds  so I have a big screen graph again in front of me. On the road  it works  well, on MTB  not  if you do really a  technical  workout, but than I  anyway  would  not use  MOXY  for  control.
 In   kayaking  I take the  same  idea  on the  lake and it is even easier as it is in front  of me  like a dashboard so very easy  and nice  to  assess live.
 In running I tried like a  cell phone on the arm, but I do not like it att  all  so  I use  HR  and RF  combined  with CO2  live feedback   if  I have a  specific  goal in mind  but that is long  back as  for the moment I  can not run  at all  with my hip problem.
 Bigger problem is  in crosscountry skiing  for the moment,  so no  great solutions in snow   yet  besides  the   upper and lower alarm  verison  for  some   SmO2  training  options. For  tram  much easier  use  a  wasp  and the coach  can guide  either on a loop  or   in the snow mobile   where he can follow you  as we often  do or did  for  video  technical analysing anyway. Than  there is the Spanish  system  where  MOXY is integrated    where you see how they use  it on the bike in a demo but would work as well in  other sports. Same in  indoor   track but as well for team  cars  look at the USA  cycling   track ideas I showed a while back.
Nevertheless  for   indoor  sports    like  cross fit or  strength coaches but as well for team sports  like ice hockey  dry land  and on ice workouts the range is  great  and  as you can see the   numbers of users  is steady growing  and in fitness centers  it will be  possibly soon one of the main  attraction to  make a difference between your competition and your  center

Look  at  the twitter picture  form the swiss  ice hockey  team indoor training  live workout  feedbacks  and here a  small inside in another  advanced  ice hockey center  in Canada. If  you go in it , it  looks  like a  huge  chaotic  room as everybody seems to  do what ever  and not as we are used   go/  stop and it looks like an  army camp  perfect  all at the same time. This is organised  perfection  in a training approach  with  super individual   physiological guided  loads, depending on  players position,  task and  ability  and goals for next season.

So far I have found the best solution is to use ipBike then download into GC. Then you have your moxy, hr, power, speed, etc in the one one file and viewable on GC. It can then be downloaded as a csv file and evenhas  HHb and O2Hb already calculated.

Once again, for viewing during the event it does not show trends, just the numerical values. You can however, get it to display more than just SmO2 and tHb.

We have a firmware update that fixes this issue.

The problem is caused by a slight difference in the memory chip that we used in our earlier units.  It's something like sensor number 140 and lower that has this problem.

I have attached a version of firmware with the fix.  I'll get this up on our website downloads page soon.

Download the attached file to your PC and then use the Moxy PC App to update the firmware on the sensor.
