Thanks for the interesting webinar Sandy and to Roger for arranging it. Could you provide some info about how cycling vs running results compared for a particular athlete (e.g. for a particular athlete - how did tHb, Sm02 trends look for cycling vs running). Were there general trends of running vs cycling across the athletes.

Good question Ryan, thank you for asking. I think within the context of racing Ironman the majority of athletes saw higher numbers during the run portions than during cycling however during training it depended on what the workout was. Here are a few examples of training bricks. The bottom one is from a duathon.

Now keep in mind as a comparison is not that great. The knee angels are very different and in both cases we used as it seems the VL as a MOXY muscle. So always ask, what is the primary mover in an activity compared to another activity.
