Roger and I discussed my interval training runs last night, and he commented that I should try to keep my slow portion of the run above 50%, and push my fast portion below 30. I tried it today, and it seems that if I am running at all on the slow parts (half miles slow, half mile fast) that I only get up to about 40% SmO2. In the fast portions I am running hard and it's nice to challenge myself to stay below 30.
Also, the current version of the averaging may be slowing down responsiveness too much. The technical team may want to find another way to deal with this issue.
My verification of good data and a good run was my recovery at the end. I was up around 85% SmO2 until about 5 minutes when I took the device off.
